GlaMonday- DURBAN JULY

Good morning glammies 

It's a Monday, nothing a pair of shoes can't fix lol.. Back to the grind, but for most its still party time; of course those who are still in Durban for the Vodacom Durban July weekend.. This is one of the major annual economic boosting events in Durban. It was on everybody's lips, even those who couldn't go.. This horse racing festival attracts people from different provinces, races and gender. 

What we love most about this event is the fashion, the themes and the extra-ordinary outfits. I read somewhere someone said "people have turned the Durban July into a fashion show one would event forget its a horse racing event" lol sad but true. I bet others even go there without seeing the horses on the  race course. 

People go shopping, they get custom designed outfits, take week leaves from work, weeks and weeks of planning; all for this huge Durban event.

Ok without going any further lets take a look at some of the red card fashion at the D July as well as some of the "extreme" outfits that can only be pulled by the brave. The theme for 2013 was "PoshOhMyGosh" which required a dash of class and elegance..

GLAMSTAR OF THE WEEK

Good morning, happy Sunday 

It's a blessed Sunday and we still praise the stylish.. So every Sunday we look at that one stylish person whose outfits attracted the eyes of The Glamour Zone. 

Today I have a very elegant lady in store as the glam star of the week. Her name is Nandipha, she's beautiful, elegant and doing very well for her self. Her style is so unique and eye catching. She's one of the big fans of Victoria Beckam, you can even spot from her style that she's inspired by Posh.. She's also a Louboutin kinda girl who collects the shoes ridiculously so. Her shoe closet is any fashionista's candy store.. Check out some of her outfits below

THE FUR TREND

Hey glam stars 

It's a freezing day today hey boo's.. The only reason I love winter is because the fashion rocks.. Right? Sooo lets talk fashion can we? 

The one die-hard winter is fur. Fur gives one a Hollywood chic look that regardless of what item you rock it with it still looks gorgeous.. But fur coats look good with either skinny pants or pencil skirt and stockings.. Adding knee or thigh  high boots completes the looks beautifully.

So lets look at one of my favorite fashionistas in SA; Tshego Manche, who loves her fur so much. She's a owner of LaManche boutique in Randburg. This girl is so stylish it's ridiculous.. Check her fur moments out
