THE SLIT

Hello hi 

This is a very simple trend that comes a long way from back in the 80s. The trend is back in power making fashion marks in the streets. The name says it itself; it can be a skirt/dress/shirt with one side or more of it cut up to any level.. The most common I've noticed is maxi dress slits, they really look gorgeous. In our SA slang lingo we call them Vezi thangas lol derived from a Zulu say "veza amathanga" meaning show your thighs. This trend is one of the best ways ladies can show their sexy toned flawless legs. The slit also gives the outfit an elegant but fun feel to it, it grabs the eye. There's no rule as to how you can rock the slit, we just have to make sure our legs are worth the show lol. But otherwise, slit wear goes with anything, from flats to heels.
